Diagram. A bar with the seven scenes start, live, low, brb, pause, ende, and refresh, with live highlighted. Below it, the workflow: import, activate, add your sources in live, and a note on what is deliberately not included: images, media and browser sources, audio, and credentials. At the end, a note to keep the scene names lowercase so they match NOALBS.

A ready-made scene structure for OBS

The pack creates the scene names you need in OBS. Images, media sources, browser sources, audio, and personal credentials are deliberately not included.

These scenes are included

start

Welcome or preparation before the actual live stream.

live

The normal live scene with your mobile media source.

low

Notice for low bitrate or an unstable connection.

brb

"Be Right Back" for a temporary dropout.

pause

A pause or privacy scene you can use manually.

ende

Wrap-up of the stream with a goodbye.

refresh

Helper scene for restarting the media source in a controlled way.

Importing the OBS scene collection

  1. Back up your existing OBS scene collection first.
  2. In OBS, open Scene Collection → Import.
  3. Pick the file IRL4YOU-NOALBS-Szenensammlung.json from the ZIP package.
  4. Activate the imported collection IRL4YOU NOALBS.
  5. In live, add your media and audio sources.
  6. Flesh out the other scenes with your own images, text, or browser sources.
Important: Keep the scene names lowercase. Capitalization has to match between OBS and NOALBS.

Connecting it to NOALBS

The matching config.json is created separately with the NOALBS config generator. There you enter the OBS WebSocket, server values, thresholds, and the scene names that fit your own system.

Scene pack instead of a finished OBS profile

The pack deliberately delivers only a clear scene structure. You add the camera or relay address, audio sources, browser sources, overlays, and personal media yourself. That keeps other people's paths and credentials out of your OBS profile, and you can adapt the collection to the hardware you have.

The live scene later holds the actual camera picture. low and brb should show easy-to-understand fallback images or notices. pause works as a manual privacy scene, ende for the wrap-up, and refresh as a helper scene for restarting a source in a controlled way.

Testing OBS scenes before the IRL stream

Automatic switching only works together with a matching NOALBS configuration. The basic production setup is explained in OBS Studio for IRL streaming.

Safety and privacy

The pack contains no stream keys, OAuth tokens, passwords, devices, personal paths, or third-party media. Still, review the collection before you go live and test every automatic scene switch without a public broadcast first.
