If you are just starting out, we recommend the fuller Creator Combo, because it already includes the important accessories for longer mobile outings.

The Pocket 3 stays our first choice in this group and, in our view, offers the best value for the money. The standard version makes sense if you already have the right accessories. For a complete fresh start, the Creator Combo is the more sensible bundle.
5. DJI Osmo Pocket 4
The Pocket 4 is a good alternative from the newer generation. For a new purchase we prefer the fuller Kreativ Combo. The Standard Combo still makes sense if you already have the accessories you need.
6. DJI Osmo Pocket 4P
The Pocket 4P is the more extensive premium version. The Standard Combo covers the basic start. The large Vlog Combo adds accessories for a broader mobile production setup.

Is the Pocket 4P better than the Pocket 3?
Not automatically. The Pocket 4P is the premium variant. But size, accessories, and workflow have to fit your IRL setup. New or expensive does not mean it is better for you.
Can I stream with a gimbal camera alone?
No. A gimbal camera replaces neither the encoder nor a stable internet connection. Video output, an encoder or streaming device, and OBS have to work together. Encoders for IRL streaming and streaming phones show what that can look like. Test the connection before you head out.
Standard, Creator, Kreativ, or Vlog Combo: which one should I pick?
