New options for mobile streams
StreamerHub V33 adds a public Live Map and the Flow Engine for automations. Important: the Flow Engine is currently a closed beta and only unlocked for selected users. The other changes cover usage quotas, stream statistics, and the stability of the Twitch connection, among other things. This post sticks to the update; our StreamerHub guide explains the permanent setup.
Live Map: tour and stream in one place
According to the version history, the public IRL map can combine a GPS track with stream statistics, clips, stream shots, markers, graphs, heart rate, and the tour history. Deep links and a dedicated settings page are also part of the new feature set.
For viewers, this can make a tour in progress easier to follow. If you turn the map on, though, check before the stream which position and which track are publicly visible, especially near private places.
Flow Engine: currently a closed beta
The developer told IRL4YOU that the Flow Engine is currently unlocked only for a selected group of users. It is not yet a generally available feature.
For this test group, the new event system offers a simple editor and a diagram editor. On top of that come templates, import and export, a live test, global variables, and one-click migration of existing alerts. As possible triggers and actions, StreamerHub lists moderation, Shield Mode, polls and predictions, OBS, Ko-fi, merch, channel goals, pinned chat messages, and variables, among others.
For IRL setups, it is especially interesting to test actions in one place and carry over existing alerts selectively. Automations with moderation or OBS permissions should only be tried in a private test stream first.
Other changes in V33
- Monthly quotas for AI tokens and sound credits per plan tier, visible under "Usage".
- New login design with a feature preview for web and app.
- Separate stream sessions can be merged in the statistics after a reconnect.
- More reliable Twitch event connection and fewer interruptions on restarts.
- Reworked sound effect dialog and separate ElevenLabs models for your own keys and the platform offering.
The version history also lists fixes for TipeeeStream, permission checks for automations, the login dialog, and app commands with !. Minor labeling errors in the usage area were fixed as well.
IRL4YOU's take
Live Map and Flow Engine are the most eye-catching additions for IRL streamers. The public map can make tours even more lively for viewers; at the same time, the Flow Engine opens up many ways for the selected beta users to connect the stream and the community creatively. Good to see StreamerHub being developed so consistently with this update.
